This 19-year-old woman underwent a breast reduction to reduce her cup size from DDD to C. The minimal incision technique was used resulting in a vertical scar only rather than the traditional anchor-shaped scars. 495 grams was removed from the right side and 300 grams was removed from the left side. The nipple remained attached to the breast at all times. She has full sensation. Her back and neck pain that had bothered her for years was resolved almost completely after surgery.
